by Briway, 870 days agoThere was laughter, there were tears, friendships were made, and enemies were smote by the score. The Blacklist has had a wonderful run, characterized by fun more than anything else, but now the 25 man raids are coming to a close.
The Blacklist channel will be kept alive and I hope everyone continues to hang out there, share their unique humor, and form groups to conquer whatever else Blizzard throws our way. I look forward to running with everyone in the future.
It is impossible to think of the Blacklist without thinking of Paws, and I want to take this opportunity to thank that wonderful lady for the effort she continually put in to make sure our runs went smoothly and enjoyably for all. Online gaming is a weird world, in which you can feel very close to someone you never expect to meet. I know a lot of us think of Paws as I do: that 12 year old boy who has replaced our invisible childhood friend Jimmy in our hearts.
Anyway - thank you for everything!
by Briway, 894 days agoThe officers have decided to put the Blacklist 25-man raids on hold until at least the Friday following Labor day (September 11) due to the poor attendence at the end of the summer. An extended break like this may lead to further attrition. To help us decide whether to restart the raids on that Friday, we would like everyone to answer the following poll question. In addition to answering the question, please reply to this message with your answer so we see who is interested.

Before we get too excited about anything (pertaining to raiding at least), be aware that we might deal with tons of raid glitches, broken instances, etc. There is a good chance that we might have to return back to Ulduar if such cases arise.
We will be leaving hardmodes behind... for now. If 3.2 instances turn out to be unplayable, we'll be doing the usual clear of ulduar on Friday and check out the stability of the new instances on Sunday.
No more lame bear form skins for druids. Hooray!

by Bunnies!, 978 days agoIf you are going to miss or be late for a raid for which you are scheduled you MUST notify an officer IN ADVANCE. Make a post, send a PM, get ahold of one of us in-game, or if all else fails, send an email to
pljungquist@gmail.com.
If you don't notify us in advance, you will be counted as a No-Show, and will lose the right to select an Item of the Week for the next week that we raid.
